Welcome to the Just be – Summer BnB at Kärlingesund.
Once a year during summer we open our doors to invite travellers to our home. Karlingesund Retreat Center is a beautiful place embedded in the lush green province of Bohuslän a couple of hundred steps from the ocean. It is situated in the middle of Kärlingesund nature reserve, which is famous for its pastures, the typical ice-pushed boulders, beautiful oak and birch forests and closeness to the meandering waterways of the Nordströmmarna (Northern Streams).The magical atmosphere and unique design enchants our guests. All rooms are individually designed in a playful style and colour. Toilets and bathrooms are shared. The common areas include a kitchen, a naturally light-flooded dining room & lounge, a reading-corner, an outside terrace and a garden. Our newly built family suite (approx. 40 sqm) consist of two separate sleeping rooms (beds: 140cm & two 90 cm) and a privat lounge with a beautiful garden view and 3.5m high ceiling on the first floor.
There are four rental kayaks available. Sauna on request.
We offer a heartfelt service and a breakfast buffet with homemade bread. In the evening you can take a seat at Alfred’s tavolata and enjoy a freshly prepared and seasonal meal. Once a week we offer homemade wood oven Pizza Napoletana.
The area is famous for hiking, kayaking, sailing, biking, climbing, golf and swimming. Fiskebäckskil (7,5 km), Grundsund (11,4 km) and Lysekil (16,9 km) offer more activities. Kärlingesund Retreat Center is located within easy reach also by public transportation.

Dinner upon reservation: 19:30 Alfred’s Tavolata (Mediterranean) or homemade Pizza from our wood fire Pizza oven. Alfred is serving his daily creation for everyone, sitting together at one big table (No “à la carte” Full menu coming soon).
