In Kärlingesund reterat Center we focus on our offer on bringing a heartfelt service and provide facilities of a simple luxury, embedeb in a unique nature. Our customers are invited to support our community through the simple seva (selfless action) see below (yoga karma) These simple but helpful acts, brings the “serving” and the “served” together as one united community, and is an act of gratitude and generosity towards our team/staff.

As a first time teacher, we suggest that you come to visit our place and meet us in person before making your first booking.
After first contact and serious interests in hosting your retreat with us we can send you our standard contract with the general informations.

yogasalas

sala – 104 sqm
fitting approx 35 in circle, approximately 35 on yoga mats, and 80 persons in cinema style.

saletta – 40 sqm
fitting approximately 18 in circle, 10 on yoga mats.

equipment:
2 flip chart boards, 35 meditation chairs, pillows, blankets & 30 yogamats.
Sound equipment in the big workshop room. It also has a cabled mic, CD-player and a mp3 option.

accomodation

all rooms have shared bathrooms and showers in the kursgarden

– 13 double rooms each with 2 single beds = 26 beds (each room with a unique design and flavour).
– Two double rooms each with a big bed = 4 beds to be used by couple or as single rooms
– One room with three single beds (located in a house outside the Center. Toilet and showers in the main house.)
– 6 toilets and 6 separate showers

Maximum is normally 33, in the warm season and with our agreement there can sometimes be 40, in this case the small houses of the neighbours may be rented for sleeping and need to be booked in advance. cottage and appartment can be optioned for teachers and their assistant.

following the swedish tradition and to be as ecological as possible, participants are requested to bring their own bed sheets and towels. If your group or single participants wish to have bedlinen provided we are happy to do so for an additional charge of 200kr inclusive of tax. Teachers will receive sheets from us free of charge.

other spaces of „kursgarden”

– A tea-kitchen with 2 ovens and refrigerators that can be used by participantswith special needs or for between meals.
– A dining room for up to 40 people with nature views in three directions.
– A lounge area with sofas & music instruments.

outdoor spaces of „kursgarden”

– A Deck with outdoor tables and large sitting area in front of dining room surounded by flowers
– A terrace in front of the big sala.
– A garden with a fire place and several little cosy places
– In the garden, we have a Sweat Lodge area which is dedicated to specific ceremonies, which is not to be used by external organisers. Please inform participants to treat this area as sacred space. The fireplace for the sweat lodge is not to be used as a camp fire. There is another fireplace that can be used in the garden, when the weather permits.
